I Have a 2000 Freightliner Century Class with a Detroit 60 series motor. I replaced the belts on the radiator fan, when I fired it up noticed the fan was on constant.is it supposed to be on or is there a clutch on the fan? so they run on air?

Do you have it on a/c or defrost. If so it will kick the fan on. With key off, fan will be locked in. Turn key on and see if fan free spins, if not check the air line to the fan selinoid and check the wires to the selinoid
