This guy had an initial delete done that seemed to work fine. But there was no mpg improvement or power gain. He later had it tuned at another place that cranked it up. He said it was a barrel of monkeys to drive after that. Then a short while later the liner went.
One article I read said that if the stronger tune involved cranking up the amount of fuel being injected too high, then the excess fuel can wash past the piston rings, displacing the oil, causing hot spots on the liner resulting in cracks and failure of the liner.

ya i have 1.2 millón miles on my 2010 strange?? and never did any emission delete!! still on my 1 st turbo ! It does us some oil now 1 gal every 15000 miles
