It’s a 99 12.7, might try the pee, though.Trans fluid is said to clean injectors. It’s basically pure oil derivative, that is it’s taken off the top of the oil, when refined by catalyst cracker. Diesel, gasoline, it’s whats left in the end.

lol the trans fluid of today is not what it used to be
Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
It may not be, but in the case of 72 below, it was used as a lubricant, which the newer fuel lacks, and it is still a lubricant. I am not sure if it still cleans like the older stuff or not.Rideandrepair Thanks this.
-
They still have the older stuff. Dextron 2, and now 3,4,5. Ford mercon. Just bought some at Walmart for my 84 Dodge.

I'm gonna just offer my little advise. Leave the 15.1 pistons in it. Then have someone not from detroit program it to get the timing back down. Add fuel at this time if you want. As HP and boost increase is why you see lower compression ratios on high hp builds. Dont use normal aspirated gas ideas hear. Lower compression. Add fuel. Makes boost. That makes hp and runs cooler. They advance the crap out of the engine for the low nox program. It's not the parts. It's the program.
Brettj3876 and ODR Thank this. -
They retardd the timing to lower noxRideandrepair, spsauerland and jamespmack Thank this.
-
Not sure what your saying. But they do advance the timing for lo nox. -
I was trying to say r e t a r d the timing but evidently that's a bad word around hereRideandrepair and jamespmack Thank this.
-
Lol, yes we can't say that word.Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
Weather we can say it or not, that's how they lower nox. Not by advancing timingRideandrepair, spsauerland and swaan Thank this.
