Good afternoon (or morning) for whenever you all read this. I have a question; I want to start a offering a service where I come out and connect a professional level computer for diagnostic codes and emission derate troubleshoot. I can also offer rapid transport and delivery of something if needed (small fast car). I am wondering if this is a viable business idea and how could I advertise it? Thank you and stay safe!

Thanks for the input everyone. I am starting a diesel repair shop and will start by providing low cost diagnostic hookup. I know alot of dump truck guys who go to shops in the DC area that I believe have a monopoly on repair costs and diagnostic fees. I am tired of mechanic BS so im probably going to call it "honest as I can be diesel tech"

You could probably use quick free diagnostic as the hook to get people to call. Now you just need a tow truck and a shop with top notch mechanic. Good luck with that one.

So you come out and diagnose, just like everyone else, it tells you what turned on the check engine light but a real diagnosis would tell you the root of the problem.
