X'S MANY! I hope you will reconsider. Just like all the dufus drivers in the truck stops. I give the dummies the cold shoulder or ignore them.

    1nonly,
I started as an O/O with Swift about 10 years ago and am thinking of going back to them when I return from Iraq. I would not worry what some people say, there are good and bad things no matter what trucking company a person works for. This thread was about how Swift was working out for you, not any one else. I hope you ckeep on writing your updates, but if not, good luck and many miles.

    JustSonny Thanks this.

I wish you'd come back as well. My husband is just starting out with swift and I am a firm believer in knowing as much as I can about things I get into. I know swift isn't a good choice for everyone, heck, trucking isn't always a good choice. But experiences like yours help those of us who take the plunge anyway.

    JustSonny and Vic1031 Thank this.

Hope inonly comes back, it was an interesting thread. Unfortunately, there are the so called 'experts' who have nothing good to say.

When I see people with thousands of posts, and only been on the forum for a couple of years, have to wonder how much driving they are actually doing. Or if they are even drivers.

My 1st trainer, years ago, called them 'counter cowboys', as the only seat they seemed to occupy was one at a truck stop. And the only thing they seem to run is their mouth. I guess they are still out there, and here on the forums, as well.

Best thing is to just ignore them.

    JustSonny and scatruck Thank this.

1nonly we do appreciate what you started here. I think there is an "ignore this user" button you can click.

    Come on back.

I would love to meet all the members that post here. Just in the short time I have been with Swift I have seen people in other terminals that a recognize.
