Thanks frank, I have a habit of over thinking and freaking myself out and being a pessimist (if it can go wrong it will happen to me) attitude a lot..I appreciate the pep talk..other than being a "FAT" guy..im pretty healthy..BP is Good, I dont take any medications anymore, I keep loosing wieght..I dont do drugs..and I strive to be as honest as my memory allows me to be..I even stopped smoking 18 ,months ago, though I still do have one on occasion..

I dont sweat the tests, the only other thing Im nervous about is the road driving, I havent been on a public street in a big truck in 10 years, and back then it was only for 1 month..right turns especially..backing up I might need a little practice at, especially blind side backs..but it should come back quickly, a friend of mine let me drive his truck around the TS parking lot a few weeks ago to practice shifting (double clutch) and then he let me couple up to the trailor which I did without a problem and then I drove the trailor around for awhile and then backed it back into the spot, did it with 3 pull ups, but when I stopped I was about 6 feet short in the back so I had to back up some more..I could tell it wouldnt take to long for me to remember how to do it..Im just so nervous about the physical, since Im a big guy and the whole world seems to hate fat guys these days and just looks for reasons to DQ them from everything..but on the bright side Im back down to the wieght I was when I graduated high school..(6'1 #330)..lol I was a tackle in football and a heavywieght wrestler..lol..sorry for rambling..My wifes out of town and Im really bored..LoL

Good points, Frank. I'm not freaking out just want to make sure I will have everything needed when I get there. Are you ready for tomorrow...to hit the road? Looks like the weather is going to be crazy in a lot of the country.

I have taken medical exams for 45 years. In aviation, certain pilots have to take them every six months and I can attest to you that even as "experienced" as I am, I do not like them and will stress over each of them a bit. But A21 is right...keeping that stress under control is critical. In fact, your blood pressure reading is more likely to kick you out of the system than sleep apnea.

I sent Kris an email and she wrote back saying that the DAC is clear on me and they have me going to the academy..I did just ask her though, about the apnea stuff and am awaiting a reply.

You guys are making me nervous, and I've done the physicals 7 times already. Lighten up on yourselves! It's a piece of cake. If you know you have a problem take documentation. If you don't know then there is nothing you can do about it anyway.

to the guys that just finished training..were you given the option to pick a "Comfort zone"?..Recruiter Kris told me that after training and after my 6 weeks with a mentor I would be able to pick the midwest regional comfort zone, and then I hear guys saying on here that they dont use them anymore and that everone has to do 48 unless your on a dedicated route, I am not too worried about it other than I absolutly do NOT want to go east coast at all!!!..lol..im cool with midwest, south and southwest..as a new driver Im scared to death of being sent to the east coast as Ive heard even old driver tell me horrer stories..

Well we took Pre-Test exams all day for our DPS Permit that we will be taking tomorrow. Wish me luck. I am actually going to go ahead and take the endorsement test for passenger, tanker and double/triple since it is free for new applicants. I will let you know how I did...

Remember you have all of the time you need on the tests. They are done on touch screen monitors and you have seen 99% of the questions and answers in Calloway's classes the past week. There are no trick questions and the ones that are asked in reverse of what you know have the modifier, e.g., NOT, in capital letters. Tuesday the fun begins on the backing range and parallel parking with Mr. Thompson. Wear warm clothes because there's nothing out there to break the wind.
    Good luck,
    Frank
