    You will have to talk to recruiter and find out what you need to do. Some drivers that already had CDL and on the road experience had to start at the Academy and some got to go with a mentor.

    Swift Academy in San Antonio is awesome....

    Congrats Gold Miner...I been out with my mentor and have 76 hours so far towards my 240...Your gonna have a blast after orientation and on the road...Hope to see you out there and be safe for the holidays ...

    Congats Gold. I stopped at the Academy the other day while you were testing to see if you were back and to say hello to my old friend Matt, who was one of the instructors with you at DPS.

    1. CDL A License
    2. Medical Card and Medical Evaluation From Doctor
    3. Swift Certificate
    4. Orientation Info Sheet
    5. Phase II Mentor Training Program Sheet (Need to fax to Virginia after 50 hours).
    6. Bus Ticket
    7. Cell Phone
    8. $200
    9. Large Duffle Bag
    10. Sleeping Bag and Pillows
    11. 2 Bath Towels
    12. Baby Butt Wipes
    13. 81mg Aspirin
    14. Zrytec or Claritin
    15. Gout Medication
    16. Aspirin, Alka-Seltzer, Aleve
    17. CPAP Machine, 12-Volt Connection, Multi-port lighter connection
    18. Cold Weather Carharts
    19. Rain Gear
    20. Leather Hat
    21. Leather Gloves
    22. Razor and Shaving Cream
    23. Tooth Brush and Paste
    24. Deodorant
    25. 2 rolls of quarters, $20 in crisp one dollar bills
    26. 4 pair of Jeans
    27. 6 Tee Shirts (4 Long Sleeve, 2 Short Sleave)
    28. 6 Underwear
    29. 6 Socks
    30. Belt / Suspenders
