Went back to MILLIS in October. I'm happy for now. Still want to be pulling a flatbed but I'm going to hang out here till my youngest is out of school or they piss me off.
Did 2 years of LTL just hurt my ability to go back OTR?

That's ridiculous !
LTL is much harder to learn than OTR.
OTR is easy -
you and all folks that do this kind of work... LTL, line haul, multiple trailers, multiple stops, tight places, city driving, all kinds of equipment...
My hat goes off to you...
I'm trying to learn some about LTL cause all I have done so far was OTR and only know one type of truck and one type of transmission... So far that's what I chose because I knew it would be easier than anything... and I enjoy living in the truck since I have no home and no family...
But lately considering changes in life and OTR may not be possible at some point in the future... So maybe LTL, or line haul, or something else... But the more I read about it...
Anyway... hang in there Mr. L.B. you have everything to succeed... whatever you choose.L.B. Thanks this. -
I'm curious why anyone would want to go back OTR. LTL isn't for everyone but I don't see any advantage beyond personal choice. Unless you like fighting for parking, dismissive or downright rude dock personnel, long load/unload times...
Bob Dobalina, Rocks and Mike2633 Thank this. -

You have options, but LTL and Food Work it's different then OTR. What about mail contractor? That's day cab, but it's usually not multiple trailers. It's usually out and back and dry van. Just a thought?Rocks Thanks this.
