-You did a good job not stoping and getting stuck same goes when you cross a RR crossing where you find too late that the landing is going to hit too late you have to push on thru and hurt landing leg pads and not be hung up on R R tracks?
DirtyhandsMcgee Thanks this. -
Look at the aluminum deck plate you stand on (between the rails) behind the cab. Chances are it is bent down somewhat, and has fresh scratch marks.

Drives hit the trailer crossmembers

Don't know ship, and I can prove it;
Never drove dry van, ever, but, a question.
Is there a recommended number of turns above the road everybody cranks landing gear to??
Or is it like, "that's about 6" above level, that should work."
Maybe that's what hit.
You could look at road there, and under feet - to confirm, if it bugs you. -
DOT bumper dragging on pavement sounds like that too.
-
should crank dollies all the way up .... that's safer
jammer910Z, baha and rolls canardly Thank this. -

baha and rolls canardly Thank this. -
did I drop and hook once and just plain forgot to raise them was at a pilot they didn't drag any until I pulled out on to the road ... little embarrassing lol
special-k Thanks this. -
Tree branches scraping the side and roof of a trailer makes a sound like that.
