I had been driving for many years & could back in anywhere with little effort, due to my experience. Once I had to back through a parking lot full of cars, then slide the tandems all the way forward to match the dock plate. When I left, I forgot to move the tandems back. Manuvering through the parking lot, I felt the trailer jumping. The back of the trailer had hooked into a big fancy Cadillac & the car was jumping wildly. Actually moved the back of the car into the next parking spot. Rather than block everything, I pulled out onto the street, then walked back to face the music. Seems that no one knew it happened, because no one was looking at the car. So, I got back in the truck and left. No witnesses, I didn't do it!
Nope, no damage to my trailer; just some paint off the car on the bottom corner stainless steel frame of the trailer and on the ICC bumper.Last edited: Jul 19, 2013

I still screw up once in a while. To make matters worse, I back into the same docks every day.

Drac you need to calm down whenever you have bad days and just go with the flow.We all have them.Heck yrs later when you have the exp there is going to be many times you can't back to save your life.Even the easiest backing will be challenging.Congrats on your CDL Erict1234.
