Glad to hear that. I think there will be a rush for plumbers in these soon years. In my hood for sure we are already having enough problems to see a pattern. When one goes bad .....we can expect the same if it is built by the same contractors at the same time.Diesel Dave Thanks this.

I think they pick up vibrations that humans can't feel. I've never run any kind of test to validate that and I don't know how much lead time they give us. We have small quakes here almost every day and when I see the horses alert I try to keep track of the time and look it up later but I usually get busy and forget.

The dogs that stay here on the ranch usually don't bark. They head for the house or the barn but they're quiet and walking on their toes. They know something is going to happen.
We get used to temblors and other than building well and being prepared for power outages there really isn't any point in worrying about it.
When I lived in the Sierras I worried about fires. When I lived in New Orleans I worried about hurricanes. This is home, I'll take my chances with the earthquake. Less worries.

Thank You . Animals are smarter than us in different ways. We are a different kind of animal. Yes , I believe we can become accustomed to just about anything. In the words of the great Rosana Roseanna dana "it's always something"
I am also taking my chances with the earthquakes.
