if you mean to "get back at" CRST as in "get even" or "sue them", i'd say no, too much time has passed.

personally, i'd not pay them another penny.

let them chase you for the money, i think after 7 years it'll be considered as bad debt for them.

 

Don't worry about it then. CRST probably sold the debt to a collection agency anyway.
If worse comes to worse, join a credit union and borrow the $2grand. You have steady employment for years, so a credit union membership won't be a problem.
