    you won't be the first, nor the last one to not pay back and driver-training sponsored by a mega carrier.

    what i'd do is sit down, go thru all the things/circumstances you outlined here.

    type them up, and if asked in the future, you have a record of what happened.

    save all forms that you got, you signed.

    if in the future you need to seek legal counsel, you got all you need.

    like i said after 7 years, it's a dead issue, and will not be on your overall credit report.

    you already have not been there for 6 of those years.

    order up a copy of your Hire Right record, and see if it's even listed on that.

    you can also try and get a record check from Sterling as well......(i have no website info for Sterling)
