In Colorado on 14 heading to I-25 had to drop to highest engine brake while stopping for a light. When I started back up....this squeak. Honestly it's exactly what you would expect in a cheesy adult movie with the bedsprings squeaking....
At the weigh station I looked at the front brakes where it sounds to me like it's coming from. I don't see anything different or distressing....
    Any suggestions?

    That would do it sometimes.

Unlatch your hood and give it a good shake to see if you hear anything. 379 Peterbilt are famous for this sound.

Brand new baby intertrashional... 70k miles. 2020. I'm aquainted with the i.forgot.to click.down.1 side of the hood sound. I've got a couple of noises i gained in a landfill mudpit. This doesn't sound like body vibration. Could the actual shocks start squeaking from a strong brake? I don't want to say hard brake, how about halfway between regular braking for a stoplight and an actual hard brake....

Probably just the brake shoes/pads just letting you know they are still working. A little dirt or dust in there will make them do that after a good application. If they start to do it more often you may need to wash them out with a garden hose. Stuff builds up in there over time.

Take to tank fulls and check back in the morning.

probably just a bit of brake squeaking.
Try backing a tad quick and then the brakes firmly a few times. That will scuff them up.

Lol isn't that the same process for setting drum brakes on a F350?? Back up and brake, a couple of times...
Anyway it's gone and didn't return. Braking seems typical. Guess nothing has gone sideways too far lol
