Did I do the right or wrong thing?

    Yesterday I pulled into the the flying J in fairview TN,all the fuel islands are full. I pulled up behind a driver on pump 20 and noticed the driver in the fed ex truck beside (who was also behind a driver on pump 21)wasn't in the cab.

    So the truck on pump 21 finally gets done fueling and pulls off. I wait an additional 5 to 8 mins on fed ex driver to come out of store. He didn't come out,so I pulled in front of him to get fuel. As soon as I started to fuel he walked out of store raising hell demanding me to move.

    I told him "NO" you can wait till I get done, because you shouldn't have stayed in store for so long knowing its other drivers that need to fuel

    Would you guys have handled it any differently?

    Nope, I'd of done the same thing except I would not have waited the additional 5 minutes. In the fuel islands, it's every man for themselves, no holds barred. You exit the truck or otherwise screw around and not move in a timely manner, you may as well not be in the fuel line.

    I would like to say that'll teach that FedEx but unfortunately he'll do it again and again.he's just one of many drivers that have this it's all about me attitude.
