With a child on the way, you need some decent paychecks fast. A few drivers on here in your situation with the hot drug test had no problem finding work with smaller companies off Craigslist. They didn't mention the failed drug test. One did though and was told, "We don't care about that, if you can pass a urine test with us, you're hired."
One driver failed a drug test with XYZ Company and was on the road within a few days with another company. The company that hired him said,"We couldn't care less about you being under contract with XYZ Company or about the hot urine test. Pass a urine test with us and you're hired."
Go on Craigslist and start making phone calls and leaving messages; lots of them. You'll be on the road soon making some decent paychecks.

On Craigslist you can also post your info that you're looking for a new driving job running OTR and you'll probably get job offers within 24 hours. Some of those Russian outfits hauling produce out of California to the East Coast pay pretty well.

Many don't care why you changed jobs. I always said I was looking for better pay, but it just didn't work out.
