They wont check your medical records. Just dont tell them about any of that. And learning to shift is hard for everyone, you just gotta keep trying. Everyone struggles with shifting but youll get it eventually. If you dont want to there are are still plenty of class B jobs with autos anyway. Good luck

Plenty of 18 wheeler companies just use automatics or offer you the option of automatic or stick shift.

Many companies require Class-A even for small trucks such as cargo vans. Remember, companies set their own standards and requirements and those can be more strict that federal requirements.
One cargo van company in Florida doesn't even require a cdl and those drivers run 48 states. This company uses Pro-Master vans.
