they get everything on that truck for free plus get paid labor from the dealer. all they do is pay for the up keep and lease payments. but we do got some trucks with test oil. 500,000 oil changes

I've never checked pricing for recaps. Have always been told the price difference isn't worth the risk of having my fenders torn up if a cap lets go.

How are those working out? The passenger line with that similar tread design are noisy and harsh. Customers are not to happy with them. Don’t think Michelin is going to keep them around to long. Ride trial returns have been high.

    It's summertime.

This is the worst time of the year for recaps.

The hot road and low tire pressure are what causes recaps to blow. Not dpf.

Right side tires are more prone to picking up debris from the shoulder, and therefore more prone to damage. 95% of the tire problems I have had have been on the right side.

In my experience. If u wanna save money, recaps you can run in the winter/cold just fine.

But if you are in the southwest heat like arizona then you might not want to go recaps in the summer.

When i started out and was trying to save every penny, i went used and recaps. But now i get new, pay a little more and not have to worry (as much).

always a good habit to check your tires. Dont act like you do it as much as you say lol.

With a super single setup.. Id shy away from a cap unless it was a top tier brand at a really good price.
