I also notice that those 65 mph or less trucks are also the ones that do their governed speed thru the 50mph construction zone.

Prime sucks! I hate their slow trucks always getting in my way. I would go nuts quickly driving that slow.

We don't hear the Prime trucks complaining about you... Perhaps you are doing it wrong. :angel9:

By the federal law if you are not under load, not doing something related to work or positioning yourself closer to a load you can drive off duty.

It's called personal conveyance. So if you are unloaded and need to drive to say a truck stop to get something to eat or do a reset you can use off duty driving. If you have a load you cant.

Now the kicker is your company might or might not allow it. They can tell you no off duty driving or even limit it to a set amount of time. Example my company only allows 1hr of off duty per day.

Federal law allows this but your company may not or they may limit it. Another example is some companies might say you can only off duty drive as bobtail. That's not the law but might be a company rule.

    Depends on your company's policy.

    At Prime...

    That load gets rescheduled.

I specifically asked about running numbers like that at Prime... in the reefer division... solo.

So you didn't get 3800 on one week's check because you missed cut off unless they pushed it through for you.

If that's the case, your miles for this week are low.

This is why I tell people to run their numbers month to month.

Good weeks may occur, but the month to month numbers show the consistency and a more clear version of the truth.

Not supposed to use off duty driving while attached to a trailer... empty or loaded.

And the truck stops, and everywhere else you want to be in low range.

Well I cruise at like 60 for the most part. Sometimes I'll step it up, like I will on a few long trips I have coming up, because the 5 to 10 MPH over a week is needed just due to hours available.

I get passed by Prime trucks, and what's really odd is it's mostly in California when I'm doing 58.
Swift too. Go by me like I'm tied to a tree.
Schneider is the worst on the hills. ZOMG lol.

I just think the fuel bonus thing is a sham.
I have no problamo with dudes saving on the fuel and the truck, but some of these guys try and 55 going into a hill, one dude told me he drives without his AC on cause it uses too much fuel.
To those things you can only reply " Have a safe trip."
