I asked a question because I thought it was illegal to have no BOL since I got inspected once despite being empty and they still asked to see my BOL. and the BOL was blank so I ask how will they get paid since its blank? since its blank and has no signatures on it will I not get paid? that's what I asked

I didn't want to get attacked I asked a question based off of some stuff that I believed.

    wow, just wow.

You didn't ask for a completed bill of lading before you left the shipper? How did you know you were taking the correct product to the correct address?

they kept convincing me it was right. I kept asking them to fill it out but they said "you signed it thats all that matters" (signed in what looks like invisible ink) they kept saying all I needed was the COA

What is a COA?Also your dispatcher was in the wrong to tell you to yell at the customer.and anyone higher up at your company would tell you the same..It's your dispatchers job to take care of the situation between you and the customer so it doesn't escalate. You could get fired if you argue and that customer reports you.

I think that you should have a BOL of some kind. After all it's a contract to haul and could save you time if you did get stopped. http://ntassoc.com/Law_Tip_1.aspx I hauled cattle and then grain in a dump truck W/O a BOL from the shipper but we filled out or own. When hauling 10 loads a day from 1 grain elevator we used 1 BOL and the weigh tickets.

When you get a blank BOL, write FAK across it and sign it.
