That trailer gets dropped off on customer property. They can #### well go get it.

Get to your dispatcher and have him repower you bobtail to another trailer and get cracking on another load.

As far as paying.. yes I paid. Usually with valuable foods left over from previous deliveries around the city that is rejected as damaged. Instead of taking home 1000 gallons of blue cheese dressing, I'll cheerfully give it to the reciever to be unloaded in 10 minutes. The entire workforce can chow down on that crap.

Right. So that changes my thoughts a little bit.

I wonder how fast can one whistle up a rental trailer at .05 cents a mile plus shop support etc.

The next problem is solving the riddle of "Someone" Changing the appt situation and not communicating that to the O/O coming on...

That's good your going to get rid of it today at least. Nothing good comes from the strong arm tactics in the end, especially if you have, or hope to keep a relationship with that agent.

Freight will be ok for some time to come. I let a bunch go today, cause I need to be home for awhile, and I am pretty worn out from my last runs. But my phone has been ringing lol.

I'm glad they will work you in, even if its last. I hate that place, the other one, Shamrock, there's one over on like 21st Ave that will fine you $250 if your one minute late, $500 to reschedule, and some guy rides around, and they will fine you $200 if your wheels aren't chocked.
Some of the doors are so F/U, you have to back through the main gate. That's the grand prize winner.

    Good luck.

Meijer's in Detroit has a big F/U at the gate if you are not careful. One side is union unload the other side is strictly you unload. And hurry up ...

I swore I would not be back there. I got kicked out back in the 80's for raising hell over the fees.

Fast forward to my last year, Im dispatched there. I told that dispatcher don't send me there to unload. I had trouble with them and they might remember me still. He said they had arranged for unloading in the back.

And so 15 minutes and unloaded done and done.

How easy it would have been in the 80's if they only had a few more people and enough forklifts on the driver side to unload those as well. They wont have to deal with dozens waiting at the main gate so much.
