Did you go to Swift's Millington Academy?

That is correct, and remember, after you complete their school, you are still not actually hired by Swift until you get coded on the last day of orientation.

 

Good idea. Some might think it is a waste of time and money, but really it is not.

 

Out of my class from January 2009 there were about 10% who didn't get hired on by SWIFT after getting their CDL's. Several that Swift didn't hire went to work for Werner.

 

I know of at least one from my class that ended up at Central after getting his cdl from Swift. At least you are not under a work contract with them just because you go to their school (although I had a covenant recruiter tell me I was, LOL). You don't have to drive for Swift just because you go to their school, but many choose to. During those few days of orientation, while you are completing paperwork and going over company policy, busy little bees in the office are working like crazy to go over all your paperwork verifying and making sure everthing is in place for you to be hired.

 

All right you wannabe rookie newbie types...lets start getting the terminology in place...THAT "CATERING SERVICE" IS IN ALL PROPER CONCEPTS IS KNOWN AS:
