I still have nightmares about my first multi-stop furniture load in the hills of Arkansas. I was sweating trying to get in the dock and you couldn’t even step down on the ground getting out of the truck because there was so little room. So, I have these recurring nightmares to remind me of my first run.
Tb0n3, Lepton1, Dave_in_AZ and 4 others Thank this. -
Yeah it was a DG store and it took me about 40 minutes to squeeze next to the store. Ain't got the paperwork but there's a gray hair some where

I save all my notebooks that I write my load info down in. It's an easy one to remember. I had to drop a trailer in an Orlando Publix parking lot. It's also the only time I have worn the company supplied polo shirt. I wanted to look like a professional truck driver, but i quickly realized that noone cares.
Blackshack46, Lepton1 and Brickwall Thank this. -
My first load I nearly lost the signed BOL after delivery. It fell out of my pocket and when I got back to the truck I realized I didn't have it. I had to go back and wander around the receiver for 15 minutes before I found it on the floor.
Lepton1 Thanks this. -
No. My first one was to a little Jewish T-Shirt Factory in Jersey City. I don't want to think about it anymore.
austinmike, 48Packard and Lepton1 Thank this.
