Did you peak and tune your CB radio yourself?

Most of the advice from that link is bad advice. Adjusting the swr on the antenna is about the only thing good. There's no way someone new to cb radio is going to understand what's going on. Even the guy in the video that acts like he knows what he's doing, is wrong. To wrap things up they say its written by some guy who calls himself CB mechanic. Lol.

 

I hear you all the time during skip conditions, nice sounding station, even talked to you once when I was near Dallas. I've come to the conclusion that most of the new radios with surface mount technology work great stock, I'm currently using Uniden PC 78 LTX and it sounds good, crystal clear.

 

Need to make it a regular occurrence to revive older threads, makes me feel younger.
