    I chose to stay out during Christmas. I have an appointment on the 28th though so I requested home time to start shortly after Christmas. I've listened to some Christmas songs. I've had some eggnog. I watched the Festivus episode of Seinfeld. I've been stuck in holiday traffic with the song "Holiday Road" on the radio (the theme song to National Lampoon's Vacation) and started banging my head on the steering wheel. I'm in the Christmas spirit.

    I think later I'm going to throw a snowball at myself and relive some wonderful childhood memories that the therapist assured me wouldn't be emotionally damaging.

    Aww, same age as my girls. If the choice is between Christmas and Nationals? We'd MUCH rather he be at the Nationals meet. Now to get her there.

    I'm not sayin I made home every year without some raising some he!! with dispatch, but I got home.

    I knew I would be cutting it close, today is my eighth day of being highlighted for home:biggrin_2554: so I'm sitting here at the Atlanta Conway Freight yard praying for a load to Florida. I'm not gonna ##### at the planners, they've been gettting me closer since Mon (PA), either way I'll have my Christmas even if its a few days late.
