He was just the advance-man for a rich Nigerian prince. You can expect to hear from them soon about claiming your share of the $40 million dollar fortune that is locked in an account and only you can get it released. That's why he took a picture of your license... he had to be sure it was you.

Or your bank account is about to be cleaned out.

I think I would still contact my DMV and see if they could change my DL number.

Well if you know there’s cameras around that would help to see what actually happen to the other guy’s trailer. But looks like you guys handle it pretty well. Hey, least it wasn’t Karma.

That is what the police, if they were to show up would do, match marks, corrosion, height & width of damage & such. I tend to agree, he may damage his equipment & blame it on you , that day or another or at worst, sell the pic of your license for cash & you'd have your identity stolen. Just that simple. Hope it works out for you OK.

They not going to change your DL #, but if you notify them they can put a pop up notice attached to your file that it is likely that your license has been involved in either identity theft or Fraud damage claims due to this incident. It would be a PITA, but would cover you if any of it happens. Good luck with it & unless exchanging your info between you BOTH, never present any equipment operator (Truck, tow motor or anyone with your DL) Police , Safety Director or such is fine after they prove who THEY are. 40+ yrs OTR.

They hate Macropoint because it STILL Tracks you 2 yrs AFTER you've dropped the load & moved on & IT KEEPS your info as to what company you drive for ANY & ALL personal info that was ever put into the system, truck #, Company info & such. Talk about big brother. They want to know where I am, call me, otherwise don't want to hear about tracking. Don't want to hear conspiracy, is a proven fact. Have a good day & Good luck with it.

Dang times are hard when a Nigerian Prince lost his job and has to become a clapped out trucker for a second career.
