It's just a money grab. Now he can "high-five" his buddies tonight over a beer and brag about how he saved the world by sticking it to another blue collar worker.

He probably waited until you were practically under the light then switched it to red knowing you would probably think what you did, that it was for the driver behind you. He needs you to help make his (we don't have a quota), quota.

My job has legal shield. Don't know how good they are but its better than nothing.

 

My dash cam puts my mind at ease. Had one guy run into me while he was merging (after I just did the same merge in a semi without hitting anyone... Shocking) and was trying to make it seem like it was my fault. I just smiled and didn't say anything. Once he seen the dash cam his tune changed dramatically! He just mumbled something, got in his car and left. No harm done to my truck and he had some nice scratches from my steer studs lol. Another time a guy tried the same thing. He tore his whole front bumper off and crushed his fender... My truck barely had a visible mark on the tire. When will people learn how to merge?
