Forgot this: you are missing the whole point. It's not about knowing where each diesel and DEF fluids go on the truck. It's about not knowing where the freakin' DEF flows from and not being shown how to actually fuel DEF. (If I only knew about that hidden compartment on the pump)
pattyj Thanks this. -
By making the DEF filler tube much smaller than the diesel nozzle, they made it idiot proof. They did not, however, make it educated person proof...
When I first started driving truck, I stopped to fuel. When I went to pull away from the pumps, my brakes wouldn't disengage. I checked air lines, buttons, pedal, it was summer so they weren't frozen.. So, called maintenance, they had me double check everything again. In the end, when getting out of my truck, I'd bumped the trailer brake bar just enough to lock them down. Yep I felt stupid.
I'm sure everyone has a story or two. Live and learn. Hope it doesn't cost you too much. -
Now now now listen to miss driveitusa, she knows everything. The veteran drivers could learn a thing or two from her.Anyway hope you have a good weekend.Doubt Werner will fire you.
