I doubt it, it's not an iPhone. I don't think that either warranty or insurance will cover it.

Too early for that. My fleet manager seemed happy to hear from me today, confirmed I will be reimbursed for motel and compensated for layover. So I don't know, might keep my job.

Whatever happens, I am ready to get out of here - spotty 4g coverage on my phone, 2 channels on the tv, sometimes there is no hot water.

Well glad to hear you will be getting out of there, at least we know you will learn from this mistake. While it may have been costly for the company, sounds like they want to keep you around……which sounds like a good deal for you...

That's too bad,I didn't think it would be anywhere near that.Don't plan on picking it up for at least 2 days.13 hrs means a few days with shops.Kind of like construction, they work say 10 hrs a day and less then half of that per day is actual work.

I don't want anybody to lose their job but you need to prepare yourself for just that. Most likely they were just waiting for the damage totals to come in before making the decision. I know your fleet manager sounded encouraging but the fact is he has no say in it and probably has no idea what your fate is either.

All I'm saying is don't be shocked if you pick up the truck and then routed to a terminal and let go. Hope I'm wrong
