Wait since gasoline is a by product of Oil whats the problem with putting a gallon or two where it says oil. If the nozzle doesn't fit. That's what's funnels are for. Whats wrong with putting antifreeze in the windshield wiper reservoir. Or Gear oil in the Engine oil. Heck the gear oil is cheaper so I'm saving the company tons
I'm sure they budget for stuff like that.

I visited Werners website and cant find anything about DEF.Where at on there is it or is it only available to Werner drivers?

The point I am making is that in this industry a driver, especially a new will encounter many situations that are new to them and that tney recieved no training or information about... to become and be a professional driver is to be able to use any and all resourses available to you...
Last week, I had to pick up and empty UNMX container to take to the shippers to be live loaded... I backed into my dock.. got loaded and when I went to pull forward to close the door and seal put on.. the trailer air brakes would not release. I had to literally drag it forward enough to close and seal it... I sent my macros and let my fleet manager know..
I could hear air leaking out the left canister... the shippers wanted me to drag the container out of tne dock and accross the lot... but I have never had to deal with this and did not know the damage that wojld or wojld not cause to either my truck or the trailer. So I got out and went and talked to a few other drivers.. it took me talking to 4 drivers u til it was tne 4th who not only gave me solid advice.. but, got out of his truck and came over to helped me fix the problem... he didn't just do it for me.. he talked me through it.. so I was able to get the loaded container to the rail yard and get another load...
When I was done training and being assigned my truck.. i did not have my backup sheet.. had left it in my trainers truck and he had already left for vacation.. well, I talked to a few people and found the information I needed to be able to do what I could to solve the problem... next morning I hand in my Back Up Log sheet.. the only thing needed to get assined my truck.... it was a simple fix.. I grabbed a blank Back Up sheet and filled it out in mh hotel room so I could hand it in the next morning... I felt comfortable doing that as I had already gathered enough information to know that I just had to have a filled out one in my training file and they would not check or verify that I was where I aid I was on that sheet and it is not a federal sheet..
One thing that my last and the best Trainer I ever had drilled I to my head is
You can either make excuses and stay stuck or stop making excuses and learn to make your way down the road.

Yeah.. there is a drivers login page.. and what I am talking about is for werner drivers only..
Havent checked, but would think there would be a video on YouTube and a quick google search and o e cojld find j fo on DEFpattyj Thanks this. -
You're right,there's all kinds of def info online.I google it a couple days ago.

And I fixed frozen trailer brakes myself. I get your point.
