In this case even the $20 is generous considering the "breakdown" was driver caused.

Now they are waiting on parts. Which automatically means another day.

Ummm... you even DEF, bro? I could see some logic if it was DEF in the fuel tank, but how would a foreign substance in the DEF tank damage the engine, exactly?

For those that don't think it's possible to to put diesel in the def, you have very little imagination lol. I drive a ' 14 cascadia and I guarantee I could do it multiple ways if I decided too.

Now, that being said.. This was my first def truck. I picked it up in Illinois where it had been abandoned by another driver. My instructions? Here's the keys, drive safe. I think the best lesson learned from this hopefully should be, if something doesn't seem right, ask questions. When I unscrewed the def cap, I knew that big diesel nozzle wasn't right. But instead of spending however long it took to "make it work", I looked for and found the hidden def nozzle.

Anyone who has been following this knows I've been in tonakas corner as far as not harping on him. Hakuna matata and all that. My point of this is not let the lesson be, don't put diesel in the def, but get the bigger picture. If it doesn't seem right, it probably isn't.

I've made my share of mistakes in life and fully expected and accepted my ### chewin, but only needed the one..

Without parts there is no starting. I will call them before noon to see if they got them. 12 days today.
