First… HOW?!?! Second, have you driven the truck yet? If not, get it towed… they can replace the DEF tank if it hasn't cycled through. If it has cycled, then the entire DEF system and SCR are getting replaced.

How did you get it in the? The nozzle on a diesel pump is bigger than the hole for def.

Realize that hole wasn't big enough, so I stopped putting diesel, I might put half of gallon

You didn't realize it was too small before you started the pump?

Or did you just try anyway and stop when it started spraying all over you!

Then you won't be going too much further. Aftertreatment systems require extremely strict DEF purity…. the moment any of that diesel crosses that sensor, you'll notice the truck derate. Don't expect it to dilute… diesel is a fuel oil. If you haven't had things go tits up yet, it's just dumb luck, and your DEF level's been high enough to keep the diesel from going into the heater hose… don't expect it to last forever.

Not trying to bust your balls here, but did you not get any training? Didn't ask how to fuel the truck?

It's possible that he tried to just shove the nozzle up to the hole, it spayed all over him, and he didn't really get any in the tank. I wouldn't count on it though.
