Diesel in the DEF tank

I still don't get how you do this. When I went local they gave me a truck with DEF. Never filled one up before. I popped out my flashlight and read that little sticker on the DEF tank a good 5 times before putting it in there. I wasn't going to be that guy. The thought of putting diesel in there definitely didn't cross my mind the whole time.

Hell, the size of the hole for the tank should be good enough indicator that you shouldn't put diesel in there.

 

So glad I don't Hafta fool with def. Looks to be a real pain. While were on the subject. Put your little blue boxes in the trash people!!

 

You're not supposed to make stacks 10 high in the fuel island with them?

It hasn't been that much of a PITA for me as I thought, but I only use a 1/4 tank of DEF a week usually. I get paid to sleep more than I do to drive these days.

 

Doesn't DEF stand for "Diesel, Extra Fuel"?

I'd never do some crap like that, but someone on a union making what, $100 an hour with 50 weeks vacation a year gets to make more money than me? Overpaid workers are overpaid.
