Elon musk has said himself even when everything goes electric, it will never work to build an electric rocket.. The one you saw blow up was the most powerful rocket ever made before. And it was a win even getting it off the ground.

How did they get rockets to the moon back in the ‘60’s? Oh yeah. Warner Brothers studios in Hollywood. Lol!

I’m not saying it’s not impressive. I just think Governments banning Combustion vehicles and ramming electric vehicles down our throats and then doing this is nuts.

“What is this? A truck CO2 emissions per km calculator reveals that an average truck, covering a distance of around 120,000 miles every year, emits 223 tons of CO2 per annum. This is based on an estimated calculation of 400 miles every day over six days per week, and a total of 50 weeks every year”

Spacex is a private company. You could do the same thing as them. Just costs alot of money to do it..

Sure, you can own a spaceship to send you buddies to the moon but you soon can’t own a diesel truck and funny enough it’s the same guy that owns both making money from both sides of the spectrum.

So Starship outputs the same amount of CO2 as twelve semi trucks? That's not very much.

Especially considering the very different work each is doing. Edit * Also a metric ton is .907 x a ton, so about 10.5 semis worth to starship

May as well compare emissions from a cargo ship vs bicycle courier...

That works out to 3.71 lbs of co2 per mile on the semi btw
