Diesel performance shop in Calgary?

    I have a '98 3406E that has approx 160k miles on an inframe. Its currently set at 475/1650 and it started a new job this week pullin super B's. I have heard that its better to uprate the power on these with custom tuning and not take it to CAT.

    Custom tune as in a programer ?

    There's 10's of thousands of those engines with the standard 550 tune. You don't need to take it to Cat, I don't think Cat works on truck engines anyhow.

    I had a 99 3406E and cat in surry just rerated it through the computer.

    I would like to get the torque up and the HP as well if its not to pricey, and I know it can all be done through the data port under the dash, but who does it if CAT doesnt? Preferably in the Calgary or Edmonton area...

    Any shop can flash the software. I think that they used to charge 2-3 hr's. 550/2050

    I found a guy in Edmonton on kijiji that will uprate it for $800 to a 550/1850...
