2005 9400i how do go about fixing the diff light indcator on the barnyard cadilac . changed the bulb but still no go . any ideas ?

If you replaced the light and it is still out. Check the wires and sending unit on the transfer case on the front rear

That circuit is protected by a fuse or breaker in the fuse panel in front of the passenger seat. Located in F4-A, should be 10 amp. Make sure it isn't popped or blown. Then like bad-luck said, there is a mechanical switch on the diff itself with a two wire connector. With the key on you should have power at one of the pins.

ok Thanks Heavyd. I will check the breaker tomorrow. like I said earlier I changed a wiring harness go to front diff and the diff temp gauge started to work . Any chance it would operate both circuits ?
on a different topic is there an easy way to change the cab/sleeper shocks . the only good one let go today . old trucks ....lots of work . -
I see the diff temp and the diff warning are powered by the same breaker/fuse, but splits off to individual circuits in the dash. Different grounds too.
