Difficulty finding a trucking company that will hire me

Well....perhaps I'm just curious. In my opinion, context is needed. It isn't unheard of for people to get wrongfully locked up. This one is so weird, so I'm curious as to how one could get convicted on such an ugly crime but not be guilty. Sure perception is reality in theory, but I'd rather gain understanding before totally crucifying him. You definitely have your viewpoint and it's respected.

Unfortunately no. I work in the prison industry in Texas. People like this are given less time than first time drug offenders most times. And when underage children are involved there's no such thing as a "minor charge" in my opinion. One and done should be the motto.

That being said, I don't know what the penalties are like in MA where the OP is from. I love that Florida just approved the death penalty for pedophiles though.

 

Do you all really think that the white Volvo 1099 outfits would really care about his charges? I know for a fact that at least one of them will hire full on sexual predators.

I agree. I wouldn't hire the guy and most people I know wouldn't hire him either. Child pornography? Does anybody other than fellow pedophiles want to be around somebody like that?

Don't feel bad my husband has had his cdl for 7 years now and has been out of a truck because of points for accidents in our personal vehicle and it's been a little over 4 years. Most companies want 5 years since accidents. Now he's stuck with a little mom and pop trucking company, not paying worth a crap. Smoked weed a couple months ago and now we found out about the hair test. He just got hired with a company that's goes back 6 months and he has to turn it down.
