People will love you for that!! The real question is what is the fair market price for services. If you can make more money elsewhere for similar work you should.Thats just Business. If you’ve been happy working for them since the beginning Stay with it. Your the one who solicited them I’m sure you were very happy to get it at the time. However costs do go up. Inflation maybe 2% add pressure of increased volume and repair shops rates go up double or 4% Fuel gas gone up Probably ins also. You need to increase about 3% plus extra fuel costs.Just to stay where you’ve been.I'm sure they can understand that. Better to tie in fuel agreement based on weekly filing avg cost for your area . That’s to protect you in future. Also protects them as it can go both ways- easy sell. If they can’t be reasonable . Then you know why They Love you so much.Move on. I would not try to Jack the rates too high. No one likes to be gouged. They should pay fair market price. And will have to . If you’re too high eventually they will find someone else to love
Dilemma, good customer, good service, should I ask for more $?
