Yup. As usual the same two or three people who take disagreement as an attack and wind up monopolizing an otherwise good thread have ruined it for everyone.
We do appreciate the majority who stayed on topic and offered helpful advice.

To be clear, in the um, 9 pages here, I don't think anyone figured out what was wrong. Unless this person drives on dirt roads in a monsoon, I can't imagine mirrors getting so dirty you can't see. I mean, even without heated mirrors, in the worst rain, sure the mirrors are wet, but you could still kind of make out details. I guess we'll never know, huh?:dontknow:

Industrial alcohol works better. Squidgy off the mirrors works better, while driving at least driver's side keeps the visibility up. Putting a "furry" underlining on the back of the fender keeps the splashing on the low side. Pull off and clean?, maybe? Why am I replying here?

You've been here long enough to know that you're going to get answers that are irrelevant, sarcastic etc. to your thread. So knock off the insults.

I thought I gave him a legitimate response to his problem and I never heard anything from him.

I've one to the conclusion it must be steers tossing it up and air flow sucking it up there. Not sure how it is getting on mirrors. They are very small. Actually pickup truck mirrors. Other driver got in it and gave it back for his old truck because if the mirrors. Very hard to see anything especially if you are tall as they are very low.
Think I might find some of them small mudflaps that go towards bottom of a pickup fender. Triangle shaped. Screw them on to catch water flying off of tire. Only thing I can think of.

These mirrors are odd for a big truck. I don't think the glass is recessed far enough back into the housing. Some deflectors around them might be a good thing.

This is my third Pete , 2 cascadias, Kenworth etc.. and none but the international have done like this and I ran end dumps , lots of muddy roads, no problems. The International did do this one time so I am thinking tire issue. Tossing it up around fender since the tire goes all the out to edge of fender. Then wind catching it.
