Bulletproof, you're being a little hard on me. While I know sarcasm does not come through on the web, my first sentence was loaded with it. I apologize because I think my "welcome" is what set you off and I completely understand.
The first two paragraphs were the toughest constructive criticism I could muster. The last sentence of the first paragraph told him if he was dirty to find another profession with "If you're not, find another profession." I even constructively addressed his excuses and smoke and mirrors with "The other problems you speak of, we are all too well aware of, they have nothing to do with your situation."
I hope nobody misinterprets my desire to offer assistance as an endorsement to the use of any mind-altering substance while operating a commercial motor vehicle. I welcome this chance to clarify my post. Trucking is a profession I love and I resent any driver that does anything that jeopardizes the safety of another or the image of a professional driver.
I still chose to give the benefit of the doubt, offer constructive criticism and my advice & assistance whenever possible. At such time as I find someone does not deserve the benefit of the doubt, I will immediately withdraw from that situation. Being human, imperfect myself, and having made my share of bone-headed mistakes I will give anyone the chance to prove themselves. If their history says otherwise then they need time to write a new history and deserve that chance.

happened to a fellow student when I went through scchool. He went home to his own doctor who retested and the results were the opposite. The Dr. called the school and within two days the student was back in class.
As far as the record following you in your career, I doubt that will happen as it's confidentiality is protected by law. There is no advantage to the first company to share that information and they're aware of the consequences. I doubt it ever happens and if so is very, very rare. -
I'm aware of poppy seeds showing negative results with some people, haven't looked at much else.

Although i agree if its positive he should have taken another that way he could of been saved but all the excuses he made was kinda funny.
This is a industry they don't play with drug user's there is random drug tests everywhere you look and its a good thing.
The school i go to has had a bunch of people have bad urine tests and were kicked out and before they were allowed to come back they had to go to a substance abuse counselor and also had to have 3 clean urine. The school also dose random tests all the time so its a good thing.
But like most have stated above me find another profession and if you want to grow up and change please do so and don't use excuses about every little thing.
Take your actions into account and please stand by them don't try to hide them it only makes things worse. -
The way I was raised, is to show respect and I will do none the less. So if you feel that my post were disrespectful, just delete them.SheepDog and Twiztid_Trucker Thank this.
