Hi, I am not truck driver, but I have one question for drivers from Canada. Can someone who have physical disability become truck driver in Canada? I have bad leg and walk with a cane, but it doesn’t make driving car difficult for me. Please tell me how it works in your country and province.

In Manitoba, you need a physical completed by your doctor with a minimum 5 years knowledge of your medical history. If you have a disability or impairment, you will have to go through driveABLE, a program that allows them to evaluate you. This is for class 5 ( car) only. Very difficult for a class 1 (semi) and honestly, it should be.
Another Canadian driver and Reczpospolita1 Thank this. -
