Edit: My autocorrect messed up. I meant to put Holset HT60.

So thought my turbo may be bad because there was some oil in the outlet going to the CAC. But I'm really not sure if it's bad.

I just took the housing off the turbo. There is some oil on the outside flange but none on the impeller or anywhere else. Don't see any leaks. No oil in exhaust side in inlet side. No play in the impeller either.

Short backstory. My truck was down for about 7 months and wasn't started. After I took it for a test drive it didn't have any power and didn't hear the turbo wind up. About 1/4 mile and finally had power and could hear the turbo wind up as I was test driving it. From what I can tell, somebody (don't know who) possibly left a blue shop towel in the airfilter inlet pipe possibly. Not even sure if it was from the 7 month repair. But I'm thinking the rag got sucked up into the turbo. There is little pieces of blue shop rag on the outlet with the oil to the CAC.

Thoughts? I cleaned it all up and almost want to try and just put it back on the truck and see what happens.
