Oh I follow what you are saying exactly. I have highlighted in BOLD RED so you can see what you said. Now I won't argue about me not being very bright. If I was, I wouldn't waste time trying to make you see some sense.

What it is to put it simply is this: You have received one or more speeding tickets and you are pissed about it. Too bad.:smt022

It's still not my fault that you don't get it. Driving fast does not cause wrecks or deaths, bottom line. Wake up and smell the coffee. Also, just for your information, I haven't gotten a speeding ticket in quite some time.

I am certainly glad we do not have to rely on your wisdom. Review some accidents where overweight was deemed unsafe. But then again, you show you know everything.:biggrin_25513:

Again, you do not know everything. Makes this irrelevant.

Must bother you alot to post on something that you consider irrelevant. In case you wish to know, about 180,000 in a year.

Seems your posting is going that way as well.

I am not naive enough to believe that I run 100% legal. I have doubts that anyone does. If you say you do, fine, but I will still stand that no one does.

I don't get it I regularly haul over 200K gross on 12 axles with proper permits but according to all you supertruckers anything over 80 K is unsafe as was stated a permit doesn't make it safe it is all about the driver and personally I think I would rather be surrounded by Heavy Haulers than play cat and mouse with one steering wheel holder mill graduate on a lonely stretch of interstate.

Perhaps driving a pick up truck is different, I'm sure we'll hear all about it !!!

My comments concerning the heavy truck issue is only addressed toward the first post on this thread. You guys can try to twist it anyway you want, but it is only addressed toward it.

If you think what he did was safe, then we will have to agree to disagree.

SAFE? Nothing is safe on or around a truck. If you get in one you are not SAFE.I stay just as far away from them as possible. I did when I drove a truck. I've seen all sorts of things happen and fall off of those things. The last truck I drove was rated at about 100000 lbs maybe a little more. The permits make overweight legal, not safe. But not having the permit doesn't make it any more unsafe. I hauled coils for the last 17 years of my career and never had a problem with them, but I watched several of our drivers wreck or lose them because of mistakes they made. We all make mistakes at times, I don't care how careful we are. Me and another one of our drivers were making a run one day and stopped about 30 miles from the term. for breakfast. When we walked out I noticed he didn't have any chains on his rear coil.(we had the racks chained down) I asked him if he thought he ought to put a chain on that coil. He turned White as a sheet. He didn't mean to not chain that coil but it happened. Now all you perfect drivers out there come talk to me in another 20 years about how careful you are
