Well, can't anybody really blame someone for not wanting to stay married to someone who will be in prison for that long. A lot can happen in thirty years. I surely wouldn't expect my wife to wait for me if I had done something that landed me in prison for any period longer than 12 months.

 

Having dated women and been married to one in the past that were molested as a child, I can say it’s a life sentence of sorts for the victim. The damage done is no laughing matter. I don’t have any sympathy for someone who rapes or molests. THAT SAID, I also know women lie. And I have a hard time with all of these cases coming forward. Decades later where it’s basically her word against his and the dude is getting convicted every single time and then she gets to take all his money. Basically we live in an age where, if a woman accuses you, you’re done. Don’t matter if there’s proof or not. All she hast to do is accuse you. Chose wisely who you get involved with.

 

I agree, to a point.

The idea of "chose wisely who you get involved with" I agree whole heartedly. It's an idea that is not imparted enough to young men.

I also agree that actions from years ago should not be litigated - with exceptions.

The big exception for me is when an outside party coerced silence upon the victim. Even more when the outside party is a billion dollar entity looking to protect itself. When religion is involved in covering up sexual assault? I don't care how long ago it was - burn them all to the ground and piss on their ashes. I fully admit I have zero chill on these topics.

 

I just got watched a video on this. Even though he’s in PC…..it’s a Cali prison. They said no one is safe even in PC. Only thing might save him is money. They will most likely extort him for protection money.

I can’t imagine being in prison. I did 18 hours in county jail and cried like a child when I got out.

 

That's just it, all she needs to do is make an accusation and you're ####ed, doesn't matter if there's proof or not. Even if you're proven innocent in the end you'll carry that stigma for the rest of your days while she walks away with zero (or very few) consequences.

 

This is why many women will stay single because many men aren’t putting up with it

 

Well, aside from the above discussion, there’s also the fact that the laws and courts and everything else surrounding dividing of assets, alimony, and child support are based on the man being the primary provider etc from eras gone past. Today’s woman wants equality in all aspects, but they want traditional divorces, mixed with modern marriages. Modern marriage is means anytime they get bored, unhappy for two weeks, they can go cheat on you and take all your stuff when you catch them and file for divorce. Lol let’s keep the kids and you get to pay for them too. Modern marriages, traditional divorce. There is not one single benefit for an American man to get married in America today. Not a single one. It’s all risk no reward.

And you’ll probably find this hard to believe, but since American men are refusing to marry American women anymore, because they’re finally waking up to it. Women are now going to lawyers after they’ve been corded or dated for a year and suing the man for alimony. Even if they didn’t get married. And they’re winning. Here’s some more food for thought. Let’s say you find a damsel in distress. You decide to pay her bills for a few months. Then you break it off with her. She can actually legally come after you to continue for you to pay for her support. Even if you didn’t marry her
