I always wash in the restroom sink- never gotten sick yet. Just use a little common sense. There has been a time or two when it's just too nasty and I wait, but usually it's no big deal. I put a squirt of dish soap directly into whatever I'm washing, then scrub it out under the water. The biggest pain is those dratted sensor sinks
Just don't touch anything without a paper towel in your hand, and never set the clean dish on the counter.

paper plates is the best way to go if your gonna heat somethin or cook in the truck. you can buy a huge stack of them at walmart for less than 5 bucks. I use a regular fork spoon and knife, but takin glass dishes into the ts to wash sounds like a pain in the ###. I cook on the road all the time because i frankly cannot stand fast or truck stop food, and its a lot cheaper. Everyone has their own way of doin things I guess, thats just mine.

I would do as 1nonly does. But if you do want to fill the sink, I'd suggest cleaning it first and adding a bit of bleach to your dish water. That also helps disinfect. And whatever you do -- do NOT put the clean dishes directly on the counter, even if it appears to have been cleaned recently. Always make sure it is dry and put a few layers of towels down first.

I just hope you are all owners of that truck! And leasing a truck you don't own it till the paper title is in your hand!
The smell that sticks to the surfaces of a truck from those who cook in them is almost as bad as what smokers leave behind! It can be worse!
The thing that's worse is it's stickier and harder to clean off!
If nothing else find and buy a fan to put in the vents or windows in the sleeper to pull the steam and odors out!
Yes, YOU might be "saving" money but someone behind you and the real owner of that truck is darn sure going to be spending it to clean up behind you!
I've seen trucks where "cooks" have left behind their "spills" that find their ways into those hard to clean places and under the mats on the floors and carpets. I've seen mattresses where they look like nasty things have gone on, on them but were food spills. I've also seen several trucks burned to the ground because of a crock pot or G. Foreman grille that over heated!
These trucks cost more than most of the homes drivers live in and they do things in them that just aren't to smart! Cooking is one of them! If they were meant to be cooked in them you would have a big hint when you got in it!
If it doesn't have a sink, stove and oven built in then cook on the cat walk behind the sleeper unless your name is on the title!
OR, offer the company the bucks to have the sleeper modified to fit your eating and dining needs! Look at what you can have done! http://www.trucksleeper.com/product-line.htm some of this is way better than that trailer some live in or the apartments! -
From what I have heard about truck stop parking areas, dumping a little grey water (dish water) will only help!
