My Company claims to pay $25 per 24hr period if you are home on off time get ready for dispatch and they have nothing for you at time you tell them you are ready to leave.......My question is do you think I should receive pay being I completed upgrade on the 21st told the company I would be ready to go out on the 27th after christmas. Because of a shortage of trucks I wasn't issued a truck at the time I upgraded but drove/rode with another driver the 400 miles to home......he picked up a load that delivered after christmas. I contacted my DM on the 27th ready to go and was told lady that issued trucks wouldn't be back till 2nd of Jan and to call him back on that date. So my orginal feeling is that I should ask for 6 days of dispatch pay. What is your opinion on this should I demand this or ? am I asking too much?:biggrin_25510::biggrin_25523:

It never hurts to ask for money and to learn the company policy on the matter.
