OMG I know what they are for pete's sake. Everyone knows what they are and some people know how to blame them for being lazy. 12 hours indeed!

 

Did he bother to talk to the company and tell them he was recording and posting on you tube? he crossed a line.

 

So two wrongs make a right? I'm glad they're willing to sink to the lowest common denominator. If he has an accident and keeps a car at the terminal should they go bust out the headlights? Or should they act like professionals?

this is not an accident. It is willful effort to damage the company by posting a you tube video. They did nothing illegal. They scheduled IAW HOS rules set forth the FMCSA as a result of a myriad of sleep studies. They did not force him to drive. By firing firing him they would be within their rights and doing the responsible thing because this guy cannot stay awake for 12 consecutive hours. He has a problem and should not be behind the wheel of a truck. He is unsafe.
