You are good at repeating basically bluff and bluster. When an opponent bases his argument on biological facts and current federal law(49 CFR 392.3), all you have in response is "OMG, drama, or I did a mixed up schedule once so that driver must be on drugs/alcohol).
There was nothing wrong with Abe, and he made the right call and communicated that to mgmt. They are lucky to have a responsible, professional who knows his limits and knows to stop before he can't find a place to stop.
K&B repeatedly interrupted Abe, threatened to take his guaranteed weekly salary, and coerced him, in violation of 49 CFR 392.3, to drive fatigued. It's inexcusable for trained managers to violate law, endanger the driver, public, and equipment; putting profit before safety. I would clean house at K&B, and train my new mgmt team to coordinate and plan loads that mesh with realities found in law and science. Above all I would train them to actively listen, rather than ignore the inconvenient and bark orders and threaten them.
It's really disgusting. It's also disgusting how some on here repeated ignore and spin what the majority here have decided and supported with realities of biology and law. Abe is in the right, you and others should find the humility to accept this, or be quite.slim shady, Toomanybikes and truckerdave1970 Thank this. -
HotH2o Thanks this.

If Abe ever gets another trucking job. If he wants to fall asleep. Tell him to read these post about Circus rhythm stuff. Enough about that already. It's funny how when people get a load to NYC or Chicago they always have these Circus rhythm or deaths in the family. Hmmm
HotH2o Thanks this. -
Once again you ignore he fact that I have said multiple times that my issue is not that he stopped when he said he was tired.
Once again you try to confuse the issue and play the only card that you have: He was tired, he was safe.
Once again I will try to explain that the issue here is that:
IF A DRIVER IS TOO TIRED TO DRIVE AFTER BEING AWAKE FOR ONLY 12 HOURS AND DRIVING FOR ONLY 2 THEN THERE ARE OTHER ISSUES AT PLAY AND HE IS UNSAFE AND HE IS UNPRODUCTIVE. YOUR BELOVED FEDERAL LAW THAT YOU LOVE TO QUOTE AD NAUSEUM DOES NOT RECOGNIZE YOUR BIOLOGICAL CLOCK. GET OVER IT. UNTIL SUCH TIME THAT IT IS REQUIRED, NO COMPANY NEEDS TO SCHEDULE AROUND THEM.
RedForeman, HotH2o and truckon Thank this. -
Come on rank, eat some crow and jump aboard. It feels good doing the right thing. -
So what do you want K&B to do. Congratulate guys who don't use there time wisely. They would be out of business before they can finish the word UNCLE.
HotH2o Thanks this.
