Did you tell the dispatcher that you were recording him? Did you get his permission before you posted this online? If the answer is no to either one of those, then sir, you are now a welcomed member of the Felons who truck Club.

The correct thing to do is to always keep yourself, the public and your load safe. Recording someone and using that video is a crime. You are lucky he doesn't push it.

    K@B called the cops??

K@B, "Hi, good evening. How y'all doing? Hey, listen, we got this truck driver who's refusing to drive cause he says he's too tired. Do y'all think you could send an officer over to wake his ### up? We got a really hot load that has to deliver on time. Yeah, just bang on his door and tell him to get moving, he has plenty of hours to drive, we've had him sitting for twenty four hours now....."

Police dispatch, "Yeah, I'm in dispatch also, so I feel your pain. I've got these two idiot patrolmen who've been sitting at the donut shop for the last two hours guzzling coffee and shoveling donuts down their gullets. I'll send em' right over"

    No Its more like.

"This is X trucking company. I can't get in touch with driver X in truck XXX parked at X truckstop. I am afraid something has happened to him. He was complaining of not feeling well and I fear he may be having a heart attack. Could you send someone over to check on him."

True, but people do not seem to see this as an issue when the police or a business tape you without your permission.

A lot of drivers at kb are salary driver which is $950.00.Which means in this case I think he is a salary driver and because he couldn't make the delivery,he loses his salary pay for 90 days.So if he is salary he will go to mile pay which is 36 cpm.Theres not enough miles when you do get paid by the mile a lot take salary. But I didn't know you would lose salary pAY for 90 days, thought it was only for that week.Thats crazy, just another hidden flaw that companies don't tell you about and have to learn the hard way.

When I heard it, it seemed like he was going to lose the guaranteed salary for the week. Then the threat was if another service failure in 90 days, he would be terminated.

I don't think he will lose his salary or service failure because supposedly kb had a talk with those 2 dispatchers.I do know drivers on salary at kb and they said it is hard.Heard kb has fired salary drivers for reasons like this video has displayed.I think you're right about the 90 days.Ray said you lose your salary for 90 days, but I think its for that week.

Wow, first off I call bs on dispatch and all 3 should be fired. 2nd I wouldn't have been on the phone that long I would have said this is where I am and I'm going to take a nap and hung up. 3rd after I hung up phone I would have called safety and filed a report.

Now,since they not only threaten dock of pay, job etc.... I would take it to the labor board and an attorney... Might be grounds for hostile work environment and a few other things.

good for you holding your ground, I tell em I don't have to do nothing and last time I checked I am only one in truck. What flight you coming in on or your computer showing up so you can show me how it's going to get done.

this happens time and time again drivers need to start holding the ground and pushing back.
