Actually I feel sorry for the guy. I just wonder what his next stunt will be. I'm sure he has some good qualities even when he is lacking in personal responsibility. But that's a national thing so I can't throw stones at him for following the crowd. I do apologize for all the name calling, and clowning around I have done. I do have a pet peeve about people not taking personal responsibility and setting others up. But I really don't know enough about the guy. Just that he needs better therapy then what he's getting on Face Book. I just don't think this is the last we will be hearing about this guy, and I don't think it will be good. But I was wrong about his boss kicking him to the curve, and hopefully I'm wrong about this. May the Force be with him and his friends.

truckon Thanks this. -
You already said you're a dispatcher...until you sit behind the wheel a truck and deal with the absolute insane inability of a lot of these co's dispatch....I'm sorry but you're not qualified to criticize this driver for doing what ANY responsible driver would do...not drive unsafe...you even admitted that you got reprimanded for trying to push a driver beyond limits...
-
Well...I'm just being truthful that's all..
-
I disagree, I like to see all views, I noted that thought the various threads almost all company drivers thought Abe was right and the company wrong , well the O/Os, upper management and business owners were finding fault with both sides... kind of makes you wonder.

Not a dispatcher bro, WAS a dispatcher and if you read it I didn't push anyone beyond their limits. I asked a guy to do his best, and told him I was ok with not making on time delivery. I like the way you dudes argue, for no reason at all. Gives me something to do and helps me to better understand drivers.
So just fill in what I'm missing. 10 hour break, 20 miles to shipper, 10 hour break, shuts down 160ish miles away, says he was up for 17 hours. How much sleep did he get during his 10 hour break. You'll notice it's not a criticism but rather a story problem.RedForeman and Dinomite Thank this. -
Wow there's a You Tube trucker that I like. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4l2F9xxhfC0 Song dedicated to my buddy PJ

You won't get an answer Meltom. I have been asking for an explanation since age 28 I think. There is no explanation. He is a disgruntled employee that shirked his duties and setup his co-workers. Staying awake when he should be sleeping then calling in tired....if he was tired at all. He purposely took a load that he had no intention of delivering on time.....in effect holding the load hostage......a trucker terrorist and a disgrace to the profession.
